Group items by container type: pop cans, alcohol cans, glass containers (alcohol and non-alcohol can be together), and juice boxes/gable-top cartons. Keep alcohol cans separate from pop cans. Leave beer bottles in their original cases, and sort beer cans into trays of 24.
